WEEK 1 - TEACHING PRACTICE

                   DAY 1 (14-07-2025)

                         As part of the BEd curriculum 2024-26,teaching practice of our batch started from 14-07-2025.I was allotted to SKVHSS Nanniyode along with other nine students from my college.We reached the school around 9:30am and went to see principal of the school Raju M R and given the letter from the college regarding the teaching practice. 

                           A classroom was allotted as teacher trainee's room and time table was allotted for each one.As it was the first day , we went to get familiar with school and the teachers.It was a very nice experience and interesting...........

                 DAY 2 (15-07-2025)

                        Reached the school at 9:30am and signed the attendance register kept at headmaster's room.The class timings were from 9:45 to 3:45.I had first period in 9A class.Subject allotted was physics.Since it was the first day in the class I interacted with students and asked about how much things they have studied in the previous classes.I started the unit equation of motion and taught what is distance and displacement.The students were somewhat okay and I didn't feel much difficulty.

                        During lunch break we went to serve meals for the students.The menu includes rice,pulissery,beetroot Pachadi and soyabeans curry. Next I have sixth period in 8F English medium class.I was instructed to teach chemistry there.Since it was the first day in the class I interacted with students and asked about how much things they have studied in the previous classes.Students were good and cooperating.

                         At 4:00pm we left the school after signing the attendance register.This was a great day for me as it was my first experience as a teacher........

DAY 3 (16-07-2025)

                         Reached the school at 9:30am and signed the attendance register kept at headmaster's room.The class timings were from 9:45 to 3:45.I had substitution period in 8F and taught the topic 'molecules' from the chapter 'Elements and compounds'.I was able taught and manage class effectively.During lunch break we went to serve meals for the students.The menu includes rice ,brinjalcurry,Pachadi and eriseeri.At 4:00pm we left the school after signing the attendance register.This was a great day for me as it was my first teaching experience in a class......

DAY 4 (17-07-2025)

                        Reached the school at 9:30am and signed the attendance register kept at headmaster's room.The class timings were from 9:45 to 3:45.I had two substitution periods in 8F.Forth period I taught a new topic'Elements and compounds' and on sixth period I delivered note for them.During lunch break we went to serve meals for the students.The menu includes rice,onion curry,Rasam and payarthoran.At 4:00pm we left the school after signing the attendance register. 

DAY 5 (18-07-2025)

                         Reached the school at 9:30am and signed the attendance register kept at headmaster's room.Today there were no class due to statewide KSU strike based on the issue of death of a school child at Kollam.We stayed there and went home afternoon.
